Porcelain Veneers | Invisalign

Tooth Whitening, provided by your dentist, is a quick, safe way to gain a brighter smile. We offer three affordable options that will easily fit into your lifestyle:

---• Nite White (while you sleep)
---• Day White (30 minutes twice daily)
---• ZOOM!

Why choose Nite White?

Nite White is a safe and effective whitening system. Nite White contains an active ingredient called carbamide peroxide. This ingredient has been acknowledged by the FDA as being an oral antiseptic and is now recognized for its outstanding whitening properties. Nite White is available in several concentrations for use according to the varying degrees of stain. The gel has a flavorful taste of peppermint and worn overnight for maximum results and convenience. With consistent use, in 10 – 14 nights you can achieve brilliant whitening. Each treatment is custom-designed for the patient and their needs.

What is the Nite White procedure?

During a diagnostic visit, the dentist makes impressions of your teeth in order to design a comfortable, custom “whitening tray” that will hold the gel. At your second visit, he dispenses a thick gel in the clear, custom-fitted tray. You are given instructions to apply at home.

Why choose Day White?

Similar to Nite White, it is a safe and highly effective, take-home whitening system. Unlike the overnight system that requires up to 8 hours of time per treatment, Day White results in the same benefit investing only 30 minutes twice daily. This option whitens teeth beautifully in just days.

What is the Day White procedure?

During a diagnostic visit, the dentist makes impressions of your teeth in order to design a comfortable, custom “whitening tray” that will hold the gel. A patented, dual-chamber syringe ultimately mixes a mild solution of delicious Cool Mint gel with an activator at the time of application. You are given instructions to apply at home.

What is ZOOM! ?

We have recently discontinued this service for the following reasons:

1. We found that most of the people who try the Zoom system are those who have tried conventional methods of bleaching/whitening with little or no results. Therefore, their Zoom results are also very unpredictable.

2. The procedure, while only a couple of hours in the dental chair, is somewhat uncomfortable from the standpoint of lying in a dental chair for a couple of hours with very little movement.

3. Contrary to the Zoom explanation of no sensitivity, there is at times moderate discomfort during the procedure. There is also a risk of “sunburn result” from exposure to the laser light around the lip and check areas that can be painful.

4. Finally, with the latest generation of Nite White and Day White bleaching systems, their results are equal to, if not better than, the Zoom system. The relative time frame for results is about the same. Not to mention the Zoom result, as with all bleaching systems, requires touch-up bleaching as time passes.
